What have 7A been up to!

We have been learning all about light and dark. We have done lots of lovely things like listen to the owl who was afraid of the dark. We have made a wonderful light and dark display. We have had lots of fun adding things each week. Can you spot plop the owl at the top?

We also made a lighthouse with Mrs Firth. Little lights are twinkling from our lighthouse every morning brightening up our dark corner!

We made a neepy lantern at Halloween and we visited Shearers which was very spooky. We even made our dark corner a bit more spooky at Halloween and we added some bats!

We have lots more things to keep us busy on the run up to Christmas. Just wait and see what else we get up to!

7A were proud to have a very spooky class at Halloween. We made our own cobwebs, a light up spooky ghost and we carved our own pumpkin. We had lots of fun putting our hands inside the pumpkin. I think that you will agree that our pumpkin is very spooky indeed!

7A have been busy with their topic on holes. we have made some wonderful things such as dream catchers. We have also made a wonderful display of animals that live in holes. We have had fun looking for holes in our local community. Here is our autumn animal display. Can you spot a hedgehog hibernating!

Planet Picnic!

7A baked oat biscuits and went to the Peedie Sea for a picnic - we even got a glimmer of Orkney sunshine! We all had fun and enjoyed the new picnic area on the Peedie Sea paths.
